Bred in the UK, this butternut variety is perfect for the UK climate as the fruits mature earlier than Amercian bred varieties - up to 4 weeks earlier!

The pale cream fruits have a rich golden-orange flesh that is very sweet due to its high sugar content. Average fruit weight is 1½ - 2 lbs (800g - 1Kg). As Winter squashes go, this is one of our favourites and a vareity that we have found stores particulalry well.

Heavy cropping and reliable in habit we really cannot recomend this variety enough!

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
