A bush tomato that Jeremy Shirley first grew in the mid 1950's. This 'old favourite' was once popular for field growing under cloches.

Reliable and heavy cropping, this is a variety to be trusted outside and inside alike. The habit is fairly compact, growing to around 3 feet (90 cm) tall.

Mid sized bright red fruits have good thick flesh and an excellent flavour.

  • This is a determinate variety and best grown as a bush.
  • There is no need to side-shoot though thinning excessive growth to allow light and air in can prove beneficial.
  • This variety performs well both outside and under protection.

Supplied as a packet of approximately 15 seeds.

i have just received and put into a pot, the cherry tree i ordered and must say i am very impressed with the quality, i can move it around during the summer to decide the right position, the only problem i have is i don't have enough garden to make an orchard. but will definetly order again if i find i do have space.
