A much improved version of 'Green Globe'. Not an F1 Hybrid or genetically modified. Seed grown from rigorous re-selection. Mature plants produce 6-8 green globes 3"-4" in size for eating in late Summer.

Depending on climate can produce in the first season, and thereafter every year. Comes highly recommended as we grow ourselves.

Not only a food provider but also a fantastic architectural plant making it ideal for planting in the herbaceous border. Allow the 'heads' to flower for a stunning show!

How To Grow 'Imperial Star' Artichokes

Plant out late April onwards.
Set plants 3' x 3' apart.
Side shoots can be removed to provide further plants.
