How To Grow Cabbages

Sow under protection in trays February to March or outside April to July.
Sow thinly in rows 6" apart. Sow in ½" deep drills. Thin to one seedling per 3" or transplant into suitable pots.
When plants are 6" high set out 18" apart.
Also sow October to November and overwinter under cloches for early greens or mature Spring Cabbage.
