Gently forced in Spring the young shoots resemble Asparagus.

Use young leaves as perpetual Spinach. Flower buds can be sautéed in butter.

Also known as Lincolnshire Spinach or Mercury.

How To Grow Good King Henry

Sow April onwards in ¼ " deep drills 1½ ft apart.
Thin seedlings to 1ft apart - they do not transplant well.
