Supplied as a bare root grafted vine approximately 12" - 18" (30 - 45 cm) tall including roots.

Popular with many UK vineyards, this black grape produces very heavy yields of large and juicy good quality fruit. As an eating grape this variety produces a real 'burst in the mouth' experience from large bunches of grapes that have that proper 'bunch shape'.

For those planning a more ornamental planting location this is certainly a variety to consider as it has a highly attractive Autumn foliage colour.

• Originally from Germany.
• Parentage - Helfensteiner x Heroldrebe.
• Mid to late-Season fruit ripening.
• Winter wood ripening is good - so can be grown both outdoors or under protection (greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory).
• Can be trained using either the cane replacement method or spur pruning.
• Self fertile.
• Fruit contains seeds.
