Grape Vine 'Schönburger'Vitis vinifera 'Schönburger'An excellent flavoured flavoured pale-plum coloured grape with a very high sugar content. This really is a gorgeously sweet grape to eat - almost like eating a mixture of honey and dessert wine! This is also a popular variety for the English wine industry (and rightly so) and grown at the Leeds Castle Vineyard. Harvest approximately late September - mid October. Fruit contains seeds. Suitable for both outdoor and indoor cultivation. Parentage - Pinot Noir x (Chasselas Rosé x Muscat Hamburg) Supplied as a pot grown vine approximately 12-18" tall.
