Our Feedback
Reading your website, I entirely agree with this quote you feature:"It is no mistake that when you buy their plants they arrive packed so carefully that even if they have travelled hundreds of miles, they're still perfect on arrival." I unpacked this order, after collecting it from the pier where our freight is delivered by ferry. The layers of plants amazed me, so carefully laid so closely together, and still damp in heavy duty waterproof bag. Instructed by the absent gardener I gave them another drink, and placed the plants upright in their packaging, in the greenhouse, to await his return, checked next morning that they had not been eaten, and were still damp. Look forward to future use!

Supplied as a pot grown plant approximately 2 feet (60 cm) tall including pot.
This Product is Available Now.Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, this relatively new variety has the benefit of not only being thornless but also of being compact in habit - making it ideal for the smaller garden. That compactness in growing habit doesn't affect the fruit size though - with berries weighing in at around 4 grams.
With its slightly more erect growth habit, Loch Ness can be grown in the conventional way on wires - allow approximately 3 feet (90 cm) between plants - or could be planted in amongst raspberries.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
