Description

Fruits are usually similar size to that of more traditional oranges but once cut open are simply stunning. Their blood red flesh is gorgeous!

It is thought that blood oranges derive from the sweet orange. It is the presence of anthocyanins (antioxidant pigments which are also common in other fruits and flowers) which give the fruit this amazing colour.

  • Self fertile.
  • Requires winter frost protection.
  • Heavy cropping.
  • Evergreen.
  • Fragrant flowers.
