Our Feedback
Thank you so much for the beautifully packed plants. I look forward to many years of enjoyment from them and will be coming back to you soon for an apple tree.
Best wishes

Broad Beans are known by many other names, including Vicia faba, fava bean, faba bean, field bean, bell bean and tic bean!
They really are so easy to grow, you just pop our hardened-off plants into the garden, make sure they have water and wait for them to grow and then pick them! So easy and so good you and your soil. You tend to find that you can grow broad bean plants without the need for support but if you are in a particularly exposed area you may need to put a cane in next to them to keep them upright. There is something quite unmistakeable about the green bulgy pods in which the beans grow and thei soft, fluffy inside where you find the beans. Many people prefer to pop the beans out from their tougher outer 'grey' skin to reveal the green bean inside. This is particularly beneficial if the beans are getting a little older.
Broad beans can be eaten raw, cooked or even ground into a flour. How do you like yours?
A dwarf variety perfect for the smaller plot. Extremely hardy, so ideal for over-wintering. Excellent flavour and heavy cropping too.
