A simple Advent calendar made up of 24 different varieties of vegetable, herb and flower seeds - each individually hidden within a numbered but un-named outer packet hanging from a string so they can be pulled and opened one day at a time. Within day 25 is the all important guidance (something to read as Christmas dinner goes down!).

All can be sown in the coming year. Aiming at bot keen gardner and novice alike we have tried to pick varieties which do not require a propagator and that can be direct sown (at the correct time of year). The selection has been made with children (including rather large ones!) in mind to add interest not only to your garden but also to your plate next year.

This Advent Calendar truly promises a year full of delicious herbs, vegetables and beautiful flowers (some of which are also edible).

Seeds include Basil, Cress, All Year Round & Paris Market Carrots, Lettuce, Spinach, Yellow and Purple Beetroot, Marigolds, Borage, Petit Pois Pea, Broad Beans, Poppies, Pumpkins, Coriander, Honey Bee Mix, Dwarf French Beans, Sunflowers, Radish, Rocket, Runner Beans, Sprouting Seeds (two varieties) and Sweetcorn.
