Our Feedback
My last order arrived safely and the items were packed well and in good condition. That's why I'm ordering from you again. (Incidentaly the straw they were packaged smelt gorgeous and as that is organic that will also be used in the garden). Many thanks.

One of the varieties used to make Cava (along with Macabeo and Xarel-lo) and originates from the hills of Catalonia. The fruits have a lovely blossom aroma and a flavour of green apples and /or white nectarines.

Parellada has good acidity and likes to grow at high altitudes where the temperatures are fresher and cooler with longer growing seasons in Catalonia. In England we would recommend giving the vine frost protection (so growing in a greenhouse or polytunnel) but this must be well ventilated during the Summer as this vine does not like very hot temperatures.

Makes a great accompaniment to courgette flowers and goats cheese.

  • White fruit.
  • High yielding.
  • Likes poor soil and cooler climates with long seasons.
  • Requires Winter frost protection, so protected growing is recommended.
  • Origin of Catalonia.
  • Fruits contain seeds.
