Vitis vinifera 'Picurka'

  • Seedless Eating Grape.
  • A lovely golden yellow seedless grape which develops freckles on its skin as it ripens.
  • Suitable for outdoor and protected cropping.
  • Self fertile.
  • SO4 Rootstock

Description

A lovely yellow, seedless table (eating) grape. As these fruits ripen they develop 'freckles' on their skins.

In the south of the UK these grapes usually ripen at the end of August/early September.

  • Originally from Germany.
  • Early-season fruit ripening.
  • Winter wood ripening is good so can be grown outdoors or under protection (greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory).
  • Can be trained using either the cane replacement method or spur pruning.
  • Self fertile.
  • Seedless (please note in colder parts of the country they may produce a little seed).
  • SO4 Rootstock.

This plant is protected by the Plant Variety Rights. Propagation without a licence is illegal and may lead to prosecution.
