Our Feedback
Dear all
I have now planted the fruit trees that I ordered from you, and i am very impressed both by the standard of the trees, as well as the packaging, as it is always a little bit heart stopping when you unpack anything like a tree that has come through the post, but I read what other customers of yours had said first, so I did not worry to much!
I look forward to receiving my potatoes in February, and using you again in the future.
Mr Jerry Slatcher, Nottingham
Supplied as a pot grown plant approximately 2 feet (60 cm) tall including pot.
This Product is Available Now.Whilst this variety does not produce fruit (being male) it makes up for this in more than one way. Of course its first and most important use when growing Kiwis is that it provides the all important pollination for female varieties such as Ken's Red and Jumbo; but as a side benefit it is actually a very attractive climber in its own right - and recognised as the most ornamental cultivar of the species. Weiki can pollinate up to seven female Baby kiwis (not the standard size kiwis) and is also thought to increase production on the self fertile Baby kiwi Issai.
Sometimes known as the 'Hardy Kiwi' (as they can stand temperatures as low as -25°C (-13°F) these tough plants are also known as the 'Baby Kiwi', 'Cocktail Kiwi' or 'Kiwi Berry'.
