Description
This is an ideal plant for those that do not have a pond, stream or very boggy area as it does not require as much water as watercress.
Flavour is almost identical to watercress, although a little stronger, and it can be used in the same way.
- Sow thinly in seed trays or small pots and just cover seed.
- Plant out when large enough to handle 10" (25 cm) apart in rows 12" (30 cm) apart.
- Can also be grown in pots.
- Top Tips
- Though not as water-dependant as conventional watercress it still prefers moist conditions.
- Pick regularly to encourage young growth.
