Our Feedback
Dear All, Just to say many thanks for the safe arrival of StopgroG8, and the splendid willows. These were much better than I expected - not spindly twiglets, but superb, strong plants with good roots. Brilliant! They're budding already.

RHS Award of Garden Merit

A slow-growing, upright shrub-like conifer. Young foliage has yellow tips to its otherwise green-grey feathery appearance. Has a fruity scent when crushed. It is best grown as a focal point in your garden or as a hedge, but in a sheltered spot from winds.

Please note that the foliage may cause skin irritation and rashes.

As with all the Lawson cypress varieties the seed originates from Oregon and Califonia, USA and was sent to Lawson Nursery near Edinburgh in 1854 where these varieties were bred.

  • Evergreen.
  • Hardy.
  • Reaches 12 feet (4 metres) tall by 3 feet (1 metre) wide in 20 years.
  • Prefers a sheltered spot.
  • Likes a sunny position.
  • Requires a free-draining soil.
