Russian Mint is a versatile garden herb, ideal for culinary purposes.

Available from APPROXIMATELY late March / early AprilRussian Mint has bright green leaves and strong aroma of spearmint, producing mauve flowers mid to late Summer.
According to Pliny "the smell of mint stirs up the mind and appetite to a greedy desire for food".
It can be used in any dish where mint is called for, especially mint sauce. It also goes well with potatoes.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
