Description

Originating from Holland, the fruits of MME Blanchette are not the largest of Nectarines, but are certainly one of the sweetest and juiciest!

As the flower of this variety has good frost resistance, fruit set is rarely troubled by late frosts - making it perfect for more Northern gardeners. A prolific and heavy cropper.

  • Season of use mid August.
  • Self Fertile.
  • First introduced 1935, Holland.
  • Grown on St Julien A rootstock for an ultimate height of 12 - 15 feet (3.65 - 4.6 metres) but can easily be kept at a height of 6 - 8 feet (1.8 - 2.4 metres).

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
