Description

Cameleon is a more compact variety of allium, usually reaching approximately 10" tall, it has beautiful white flowers which are tinged with pink that start off a deeper pink colour and fade to white as they mature maintaining their pink veins, hence the Cameleon name.

For best effects these are best planted in clumps as the flowers open and age at slightly different times offering an amazing display that changes.

Can be grown in open ground or in pots (with free draining soil).

  • Perennial habit.
  • Flowers in June.
  • Reaches approx 10" (25 cm) tall.
  • Plants 4" (10 cm) apart and deep.
  • Likes a full sun, well drained position.

  • Can be used as cut flowers.

Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

Do NOT eat the ornamental bulbs.
