Our Feedback
Dear all I have now planted the fruit trees that I ordered from you, and i am very impressed both by the standard of the trees, as well as the packaging, as it is always a little bit heart stopping when you unpack anything like a tree that has come through the post, but I read what other customers of yours had said first, so I did not worry to much! I look forward to receiving my potatoes in February, and using you again in the future.

A delicious, sweet, tasty petit pois pea which is high-yielding and easy to grow. It has a compact and bushy habit and is well worth growing.

Great for steaming, boiling, eating raw or whatever you would normally do with your peas!

Plants reach approximately 24" (60 cm) high, no support is required, but we do recommend it as we have found we get a better yield.

  • Plant approximately 5" (13 cm) apart in rows 24" (60 cm) apart.
  • Can be grown on tepees.
  • Support isn't necessary but you tend to get a better crop if support is provided..
  • A good precaution to prevent damage from Pea Moth or Pea Weevil is to spray the entire plant (flowers included) with our BioFriend Plant Defence periodically during the flowering period.
  • Water well if the weather is dry when the pods are swelling.
  • Regular picking will encourage further flowering and subsequent cropping. Peas freeze well so better to pick regularly and freeze any excess as this will keep the plants producing.
  • After harvesting dig the plants into the ground to provide green manure and valuable nitrogen to the soil.
Available from approximately April 2019
