Please note we are unable to offer this variety this year, but can offer Malling Juno which is similar, we do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Supplied as bare root canes pruned to approximately 12" (30 cm) tall.
Available from APPROXIMATELY late November / early DecemberThis fairly new introduction from East Malling Research Station is, in our opinion, probably the best early season variety there is!
The attractive conical fruits have a wonderful flavour and a firm texture - which helps to increase keeping qualities (they also freeze well too). Malling Minerva has a relatively compact habit. Cropping starts late June and carries through to the end of July - highest yields being mid July.
Disease resistance is excellent.
Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
This plant is protected by the Plant Variety Rights. Illegal propagation without a licence will lead to prosecution.
