This really is a pretty little Summer Squash with a wonderful fresh almost Citrus flavour and soft skin. If you pick these small enough (around 2" (5 cm) in diameter) they are lovely to eat raw - but in any event we wouldn't let these get much bigger than 3" (7.5 cm) in diameter.

This fairly new variety is superior to Sunburst from which it is derived. The plants are bushy in habit and high yielding - producing heavy crops of this delicate Patty Pan type of squash with scalloped edges.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
