Description

Rambling Cascade is a delicious strawberry, it has such a sweet and delicious flavour that you just wouldn't want to miss! Maybe give one as a gift too.

We offer this kit (which needs putting together on it's arrival, but we send you everything you need except the hook to hang it from) so that you can enjoy them in your garden, best place is right next to your door so you can eat them as you come and go! The biggest advantage that we have found with these hanging basket kits is that the slugs can't get to your strawberries so you get to enjoy them all instead.

The effect seen in the picture can be achieved within about eight weeks during the active growing season – and the runners can go on to trail as far as 6 feet (1.8 metres). Can be grown outside from approximately mid-May onwards; ideally should be over-wintered under protection. From time to time you can root runners to produce further plants for your basket or for your garden or window boxes.

Fast becoming an extremely popular variety for making jam with (some of the leading supermarkets use it for theirs!)

  • Runners grow more than 6 feet (1.8 metres).
  • Easy to put together.
  • Self-fertile.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
