Our Feedback
Late July and I decided to replace a couple of plants in my flowerbed that are not earning their keep. I decided I want Fuchsias. I did a bit of research, decided on the variety I wanted and then tried to find some. Victoriana came up trumps and had the variety I was looking for, and offered reasonably priced mail order too. I was delighted when I received my plants. They are sturdy and bushy. They've been pinched back so there are lots of shoots. They were well packed and clearly were posted to avoid being in the post over the weekend in what was a very hot spell in July / August 2020. Arrived still moist and in fabulous condition. I am delighted with them. A teensy bit potbound, as to be expected at this time of year, but the lovely root system means I'm sure they'll get their roots out and grow on in no time. 100% satisfied customer; I would happily recommend Victoriana Nurseries to anyone wanting to buy a Fuchsia. These are the experts. Thank you!

Description

The colour of these can put a few people off as they never look quite ripe - even for a yellow / gold tomato! The trick is patience and judging the ripeness by touch (fruit just 'gives' when pushed with a thumb) as opposed to colour.

Under the pale yellow-red skin will be found a really rich orange-coloured flesh, sometimes tinged pink. The flavour is extremely deep and intense, making this meaty tomato wonderful for slicing raw, grilling, or using for sauces.

  • This is an indeterminate variety and best grown as a cordon (vine).
  • For best yields and size of fruit, stop at 5th truss if growing under protection (3rd outside).
  • Whilst the best crops will be grown under protection, this variety can also be grown outside.
