Our Feedback
Dear team, my Shirley Giant Onions are growing like mad - all my mates are asking how I grow them so big.I told when I received them as plants I followed your instrutions and just sat back and watched them grow. So I gave them your email. Can't wait to taste them. Be in touch again.

Description

Despite its name, we can sadly see no link to any of our ancestors being involved in the breeding of this excellent greenhouse tomato variety.

'Shirley' always produces a heavy crop of uniform fruits that are everything a tomato should be - good colour, meaty, juicy and very flavoursome! No wonder this is now regarded the UK amateur's favourite greenhouse variety (it will do just as well in a polytunnel or similar).

Very early into cropping, it just seems to go on and on. Very reliable and with good disease resistance too.

  • This is an indeterminate variety and best grown as a cordon (vine).
  • For best yields stop at 5th truss.
  • Suitable for protected growing only.
