Large rich deep red flowers with orange stamens with purple blotched green lily pads.
Water lilies are of especial benefit in providing essential Summer shade to fish, and do help keep the water 'sweet' due to the absorption of toxins and actual water filtration provided by the underside of their leaves in Summer.
- Hardy.
- Likes a full sun position but will tolerate some shade.
- Does not like moving water.
- Likes water approximately 12" - 30" (30 - 75 cm) deep.
- Flowers can reach approximately 5" (12 cm) diameter.
- Flowers are scented.
