Strong-growing shrub heather that makes an excellent ground cover plant

Has a midgreen foliage with white buds that turn into stunning lilac-pink flowers, giving an amazing bi-colour effect.

It is thought to have orginated from the European Alps.

Recognised to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Hardy evergreen.
  • Reaches 4-6" (10-15 cm) tall.
  • Spread 12-18" (30-45 cm) wide.
  • Flowers January-March
  • Likes lime to acidic soil but doesn't like compacted soil.
  • Likes freedraining soil.
  • Prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade.
