Our Feedback

Hi just received my herbs - very nice quality thank you. Just to say that the cardboard box had almost fallen apart so you might want to considered a waxed box or something stronger.

Challock Chilli Fest

Logo for the Challock Chilli Festival

Date: 3rd - 4th October 2015, 10.30am - 4.00pm

Cost: Free

It gets bigger every year and 2015 is no different, if you missed 2014 make sure your here for this one - we all had so much fun, including some brave children trying chillies!

Along with all the Chilli varieties we grow and sell as seed here at the nursery we'll also be growing a multitude of other varieties - from the sublimely cool to the ridiculously hot - taste the ones you dare! (with opportunities to purchase fruits of the ones you like - or seeds for sowing next year).

If you are new to Chilli growing we will, as always, be on hand to advise on growing techniques as well as methods of preserving your crop.

If you are interested in having a craft or food stall at our 2015 Chilli & Craft Fair please do get in touch with us via our Contact Form booking are now being taken.

Totally Tomatoes

Date:Mid August 2014 - date to be confirmed - 11.00am - 4.00pm
Cost: Free

All tomatoes taste the same don't they?...No!

Every year we add more heritage varieties to our range - come along and find out what they (and a few others) taste like and see how they grow. For 2015 we are hoping to have close to 80 varieties on taste including some new to the UK blight resistant outdoor varieties that we are trialing.

At the same time come and see what we're growing on the nursery, be it fruit, vegetables, herbs or flowers for cutting, and have a natter about your successes and failures with fellow gardeners - or one of us!
