Our Feedback

Hello, i visited your nursery earlier today, i have to tell you: i was seriously impressed, both with the friendly knowledgeable helpful Lady who was there serving me, and with the carload of plants i bought. I love my new cherry and apricot trees, my new blackberry bush and the amazing more than a tray load of olde worlde herbs i bought. I might not be able to visit often due to the 145 mile distance but i will certainly be back sometime. Thank You very Much. :)

Forthcoming Events At Victoriana

Totally Tomatoes

Date: 16 August 2014, 11.00am - 4.00pm
Cost: Free

All tomatoes taste the same don't they?...No!

Every year we add more heritage varieties to our range - come along and find out what they (and a few others) taste like and see how they grow. For 2014 we are hoping to have close to 90 varieties on taste including some new to the UK blight resistant outdoor varieites that we are trialing.

At the same time come and see what we're growing on the nursery, be it fruit, vegetables, herbs or flowers for cutting, and have a natter about your successes and failures with fellow gardeners - or one of us!

Other activities going on...

Challock Chillies & Craft Weekend

Date: 27 - 28 September 2014, 11.00am - 4.00pm
Cost: Free.

It gets bigger every year! After the success of our 2013 Chilli and Craft Day we've decided to make it a weekender!

Along with all the varieties we grow and sell as seed here at the nursery we'll also be growing a multitude of other varieties - from the sublimely cool to the ridiculously hot - taste the ones you dare! (with opportunities to purchase fruits of the ones you like - or seeds for sowing next year).

If you are new to Chilli growing we will, as always, be on hand to advise on growing techniques as well as methods of preserving your crop.

If you are interested in having a craft or food stall at our 2014 Chilli & Craft Fair please do get in touch with us via our Contact Form.
