On Saturday at the Garden Organic AGM Professor Ian Lang, talking about Food Security urged us all to grow more fruit. He pointed out that in Britain we produce a mere 5% of the fruit we eat, and we should consume 9 a day not just 5 a day fruit and veg.
Last November I planted your Polka raspberries. They are now strong tall vigorous canes, tallest I have ever grown and producing throughout the summer. I'll need steps to pick the late ones!!

Here at Victoriana we have been working with schools and school gardening clubs for nearly thirty years. Being a small family business there is a limit to what we can afford to 'give away' (though we do offer a national discount scheme to all schools). Your membership fee will be used to help us continue this national discount scheme and further fund projects with schools.
Joining our club will provide you with a membership card - but not necessarily sign you up to endless newsletters and mailings. We'd love to be able to keep you up to date with news of all the school projects we are involved in - as well as news of any special offers or trials that may be open to you as a Scarecrow Club Member.
