This makes an excellent multi purpose onion...

Grow and pull as you would Spring Onions and you will find these have a lovely crunch and a decent sized bulb making them perfect for Summers salads.

Allowed to grow on and mature you will produce a fine crop of small pure white onions perfect for pickling and producing 'cocktail' onions or cooking whole in stews and casseroles - or even with peas.

These really are gorgeously sweet and highly recommended.

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects if allowed to 'go over' and flower (so if you have room leave any plants in that have gone too far rather than pulling them out straight away).
