My father and I have been looking for my Grandad's onions for years and we have found them on your website! We look forward to growing our own everlasting siberian.

Hotting Up For Chilli Fest

September already - the year just seems to have flown by! Of more surprise is how Autumnal it has become so quickly this year. Of course Autumn doesn't officially start until the 21st of September, but already the mornings are cooler and even on the sunniest days the sun seems to have really lost its strength.

Here at the nursery we're busy – busy planning for the Autumn and Winter and busy preparing for our Challock Chilli Fest – so not too many 'words' this month.

Visitors to the nursery will notice a huge difference as we have grubbed out and hard pruned huge areas, all to be re-landscaped and planted over the next few months.

As far as our Chilli Fest is concerned, we're hoping for good weather as this year we've doubled the number of varieties that will be on taste, more than doubled the number of Craft & Food stalls joining us – and even doubled the amount of days the event is on! Full information can can be found at Challock Chilli Fest.

On top of all that we've still got the 'day job' to keep us busy too - producing young vegetable plants and ornamental plants for the Autumn and into next Spring.

In the garden its time to get your Autumn sowings under way. Its also a great time to be planting containerised fruit; the soil is still warm so the plants will establish before the onset of Winter.

Be sure to follow all our antics at the nursery on Twitter @Victoriana_NG - for daily updates and nursery news tweeted with a grin.
