Our Feedback
Following an attack of cellulitis around my ankle, I developed a painful leg ulcer that was slow to respond to conventional treatment. Then I read the article on your site about Aloe Vera, and promptly ordered a large plant, which arrived quickly in excellent condition. No, it was not an overnight cure, but perseverance over a number of weeks resulted in a completely healed ulcer, just as promised. To guard against reinfection, I rub a little juice on the vulnerable area each night. Also, I suffer from contact dermatitis, and find the juice is excellent for taking the itch out of a rash, and promoting healing. My heartfelt thanks for the information, and for the super plant which, potted on into a large container and standing by my kitchen patio door, grows bigger every day. I will be recommending Aloe Vera to all my family and friends - definitely a 'must have' plant.

Chilli tasting well under way at Challock Chilli Fest 2015Challock Chilli Fest

Date: 5 & 6 October 2019
Time: 10.30am - 4.00pm
Cost: £3.50 per adult (children under 16 are free)
Well behaved dogs are welcome for this event but must be kept on a lead please.

There are Chilli Festivals and there are Chilli Festivals and we've been to more than one or two where we've struggled to find a fresh Chilli - let alone a Chilli Plant!

At Victoriana our Chilli Fest is just a little bit different - it’s all about the Chilli! And every year it gets bigger and bigger with 2018 having a larger 'field space' which will be used again in 2019!

Along with Chilli tasting we will be selling fresh Chilli Fruits, fully grown Chilli plants as well as Chill Seeds for sowing and growing your own - what better way to make your selection than trying before you buy?

There will also be many stalls selling sauces, chutneys, and jams - as well as foods to eat on the day from Local Game to Indian Street Food - and to drink everyhting from Chilli Beer to Cocktails to Chilli Coffee. Couple that with a range of arts and craft stalls (all who sell at least one Chilli themed craft item) and you have the perfect event for the lover of all things Chilli!

For more information about last year's event take a look at this link of Mark's Veg Plot & a blog from the 'Spicefreak'

Stalls currently confirmed for 2019 are:
