This Product is Available Now.Also known as Stalked Bulbine, this unusual plant originates from South Africa. Attractive yellow-orange flower spikes appear above dense clumps of long, fleshy leaves. The leaves, if broken, produce a jelly which is said to have healing properties if applied to wounds, skin infections, eczema or burns. The Burn Jelly plant is a bushy perennial evergreen that likes a sheltered situation in full sun, though it is also happy in partial shade. It prefers a well-drained, loamy soil. It can reach a height of 20 inches (50 cm), spreading up to 5 ft (1.5 m). Flowers appear between June and October.
