Thank you for the careful delivery of herb plants. They arrived healthy and happy. I ordered without paper instructions. Could you let me have instructions online? I am not successful in finding them. Many thanks!

A great chilli whose appearance is quite funny as it looks like cream caterpillars growing all over the chilli plant.

Whilst the heat is initially quite 'sharp' and hot if you eat it raw, when you cook with it the heat mellows and isn't that hot at all but has a really nice almost citrusy type flavour to it so goes well with chicken and fish (amongst many other foods!)

The fruits start pale green and ripen to a creamy yellow/white. Plants are high yielding the fruits don't contain many seeds. Given that the fruits are quite skinny this can make it an easy chilli to cook or eat as it doesn't need a lot of preparation.

The word Gusano means 'worm' in Spanish!

Also known as the Habanero Aribibi Gusano, Aribibi, caterpillar or worm chilli

To ensure good germination a constant compost temperature of 82° - 86° f (28° - 30° C) is recommended. Germination can be slow and take three weeks or more.

  • Origin: Aribibi, Bolivia.
  • Heat: Extremely Hot, 50,000 - 80,000 SHU.
