This is arguably one of the best-looking Chillies there is; in our opinion it is the best-looking!

¾" (2 cm) diameter by roughly ¾" (2 cm) bell-shaped fruits mature from dark purple to an almost iridescent pale pink. Hanging from the plant in clumps they really do look stunning - though they do tend to hang under the canopy of the foliage so this is potentially a plant to grow on a bench or similar so you can see them from below.

The fruits have a very sweet, fruity flavour, very similar to the Habanero - though the heat is noticeably less intense.

Growing to around 3 feet (90 cm) tall and with a compact habit this is a lovely variety to grow. Similarly, it is a variety that lends itself well for bonsai.

To ensure good germination a constant compost temperature of 82° - 86° f (28° - 30° C) is recommended. Germination can be slow and take three weeks or more.

  • Origin: Brazil.
  • Heat: Extremely Hot - approximately 60,000 SHUs.
