Description
Just like its close cousin, Hungarian Yellow Wax, this lovely Chilli (or should that be Sweet Pepper) has a sweet Citrus flavour and thick crunchy flesh - but with none of the heat.
Perfect for stuffing, grilling, chopping into stir fries or using in salads, this really is a lovely variety. Perfect for making a non-spicy version of Chilli Squid!
Fruits grow to around 6" (15 cm) in length and taper from 1" (4 cm) in diameter to nothing. The thick flesh starts off bright green before maturing to a bright yellow. If left on the plant they will actually continue to finally mature to a rich red. Very early to set fruit and extremely heavy cropping, the plants grow to around 2 feet (75 cm) tall with a fairly compact habit. Some additional support may be required if the weight of the crop proves too much for the plant!
