Description

A most reliable, in fact one could say indispensable, herbaceous plant that is both compact and neat in habit.

Growing to around 2 feet (60 cm) tall, with similar spread, the rich green foliage is smothered with bright scarlet red flowers. Flowering can start in May and continue through to September; we've even seen these throw the occasional flower in January in years gone by!

Every garden should have a few Geums!

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.
