Description

Produces perfect shaped bunches of large golden fruits - as eating grapes go this really is the classic. The muscat flavour and scent more than surpasses expectations, making this a variety we would thoroughly recommend.

For the more adventurous preserver it is worth remembering this is the grape used in Australia for making Lexia raisins. Around the rest of the world (where it is known under a variety of names including Moscatel, Moscatel Romano, Moscatel de Málaga, Muscat Gordo Blanco, Hanepoot, Lexia, Moscatel, Gordo, and Zibibbo) it is extensively used in wine, sherry and liqueur production.
