Description

A hybrid variety producing large grapes that are just as well suited to eating as juicing and drinking. Bred in Germany in the 1960s it is often recognised for its hardiness and good resistance to disease.

  • Originally from Germany.
  • Parentage: Bacchus x Villard Blanc
  • Mid-season fruit ripening.
  • Winter wood ripening is good - so can be grown both outdoors or under protection (greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory).
  • Best trained by spur pruning.
  • Self fertile.
  • Fruit contains seeds.
