Description

Hybridised from plants originating in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this tough little succulent makes an excellent addition to the garden - and is perfect for the rock garden or growing in troughs.

Happiest in a well-drained soil (or gritty compost if growing in containers), these have been found to tolerate wet Winters better than most Lewisia.

Flowering from May-June, these also have the bonus of sometimes flowering again in September.

  • Flower May-June - and perhaps September too!
  • Prefer a well drained lime free soil or compost.
  • Perfect in a full sun position but will also grow happily in partial shade.
  • Height when flowering approximately 6" (15 cm)
  • Plant 12" (30 cm) apart.
  • An excellent rockery plant, or for container growing.
