This really is a ground cover for all seasons - and all aspects!

Happy to grow anywhere from deep shade, the rich green foliage grows really tight and thick to the ground. The new spring growth is pale green; as the season continues it deepens to a dark green - but always the leaves have an almost polished appearance.

But the real beauty of this plant is its flower - and flowering period. Virtually any time of year (spring, summer, autumn and even in mild winters) pretty star-like flowers appear nestled between the foliage.

Utterly hardy and tough, once established this plant needs very little attention at all. Completely reliable!

Plant 12" x 12" (30 x 30 cm) apart - that's 9 plants per square metre to metric people.
Grow to approximately 8" (20 cm) tall.
Suitable for all aspects, and will grow in deep shade - even beneath the shade canopy of trees.
Happy in most soil types except those that are very dry.
Ensure weed growth is kept under control until the lawn is well established.
