This really is a ground cover for all seasons - and all aspects!

Happy to grow anywhere from deep shade, the rich green foliage grows really tight and thick to the ground. The new spring growth is pale green; as the season continues it deepens to a dark green - but always the leaves have an almost polished appearance.

But the real beauty of this plant is its flower - and flowering period. Virtually any time of year (spring, summer, autumn and even in mild winters) pretty star-like flowers appear nestled between the foliage.

Utterly hardy and tough, once established this plant needs very little attention at all. Completely reliable!

• Plant 12" x 12" (30 x 30 cm) apart - that's 9 plants per square metre to metric people.
• Grow to approximately 8" (20 cm) tall.
• Suitable for all aspects, and will grow in deep shade - even beneath the shade canopy of trees.
• Happy in most soil types except those that are very dry.
• Ensure weed growth is kept under control until the lawn is well established.
• Evergreen.
