This variety of sweet pepper is great if you want to grow your own paprika but is also good for stuffing.

The fruits (which can also be eaten as you would other sweet peppers) have a mild peppery taste, thick fleshy and crunchy skin. The fruits are round and look a little like a tomato in appearance.  Mature fruits are red in colour although they start off a pale creamy colour.

A pimento-type pepper.

To ensure good germination a constant compost temperature of 82° - 86° f (28° - 30° C) is recommended. Germination can be slow and take three weeks or more.

  • Origin: Hungary.
  • Thick skinned.
  • High-yielding.
  • Open pollinating.
