Description

This is officially the Hottest Chilli In The World (according to the Guiness Book of Records) and was created in the USA. It is a cross between the Pakistani Naga and a Red Habanero. The Scoville rating on the average fruit is around 1.5 million but they have been recorded up to 2.2 million!

If you can get through the heat (which some people can!) it has a smoky yet fruity flavour. The fruits can reach around 3" (7.5cm) and are usually round or oblong in shape with a little 'tail' at the end. The flesh ripens to red with a 'bumby' texture - quite an interesting fruit.

  • Origin: USA
  • Heat: Volcanic - approximately 1,500,000-220,000,000 SHUs
