Description

Starting off pale green, the flattened-bell-shaped fruits mature to a gorgeous orange or red.

Whilst the body of the chilli has some significant heat, the wings are sweet and mild making a complete fruit a not over-powering experience, so you almost get two chillies in one - one of our favourites.

These are great for slicing the top off and stuffing before grilling or roasting. They're also wonderful for drying and hanging on the Christmas tree as an 'alternative' decoration.

The squat fruits are 2"-3" (5-7.5 cm) in diameter and 1"-2" (2.5 - 5 cm) tall. The plant itself grows to around 4 feet (120 cm) tall and has a lank and open appearance, with a spread of approximately 3 feet (90 cm).

  • Origin: Brazil.
  • Heat: Medium - approximately 5,000-15,000 SHUs
