Our Feedback
I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic service you gave me when I purchased a Ruby Anniversay rose bush from you. I ordered by telephone and spoke to a lady who was very helpful and polite. I received the rose bush in time for my Mum & Dad's anniversary, beautifully looked after and very carefully packaged. My parents loved it. Thank you again for a wonderful service. I will not hesitiate to recommend you to friends and family.

Description

This is a variety that produces round green fruitsbest eaten when around the size of a cricket ball.

Flavour and texture is excellent and these are wonderful for roasting whole. Or, if picked very small, they can be dipped in a tempura batter and then deep fried.

If you do have the odd one that 'gets away' (and everyone does with courgettes) slice off the top, scoop out the flesh and mix it with cheese, minced meat or prawns, replace the top and bake in the oven - you will love it. Or try making a lasagne using long slices of courgette!

Recommended by the RHS to be an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other beneficial insects.

  • Flowers are edible.
