Description

A delicious early fruiting, large, red gooseberry, these fruits have a smooth skin and are high yielding and can be eaten straight from the bush. Virtually spineless (but please note it does still have some!) produces a strong upright plant.

Introduced from Switzerland.

  • Good mildew resistance.
  • Plant 6 feet (1.5 metres) apart.
  • Virtually spineless (although does have some spines).
  • Likes a full sun or partial shade position.
  • Self fertile.
