Description
A delicious early fruiting, large, red gooseberry, these fruits have a smooth skin and are high yielding and can be eaten straight from the bush. Virtually spineless (but please note it does still have some!) produces a strong upright plant.
Introduced from Switzerland.
- Good mildew resistance.
- Plant 6 feet (1.5 metres) apart.
- Virtually spineless (although does have some spines).
- Likes a full sun or partial shade position.
- Self fertile.
