Description

Known as Pinot Bianco in Spain and Italy, and Weissburgunder in Germany, this variety came from a chance sport of Pinot Noir. Well suited to our cooler climates it produces a good crop of green-white grapes that mature to a pale purple-pink blush.

  • Originally from France.
  • Mid-Season fruit ripening.
  • Winter wood ripening is good - so can be grown both outdoors or under protection (greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory).
  • Can be trained using either the cane replacement method or spur pruning.
  • Self fertile.
  • Fruit contains seeds.
