Description

A small-berried and intensely aromatic variety producing delicious plum-coloured grapes that can be eaten, juiced or made into wine. In all instances the aromatic, almost spicy grapefruit, taste will be carried through, layered with intense sweetness.

  • Originally from Germany.
  • Parentage: Madeleine Angevine x Gewürtztraminer.
  • Early-season fruit ripening.
  • Winter wood ripening is good - so can be grown both outdoors or under protection (greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory).
  • Can be trained using either the cane replacement method or spur pruning.
  • Self fertile.
  • Fruit contains seeds.
