The 'superfruit' is a relatively new concept within the health market, although the many health benefits of the goods encompassed under this umbrella term have been known for a long time.
Superfruits includes the likes of antioxidant- and vitamin-rich pomegranates, goji berries, blueberries, cranberries (wolfberry) and bilberries, all of which if eaten in moderation can help you to achieve optimum health. And what better way to ensure that your superfruits are free of unwanted additives and pesticides, than by growing them right at home?

Slated to be the next 'new' super fruit. A popular fruit amongst foragers. Closely related to the Blueberry though the fruits are smaller. Self fertile.

A popular American variety of Cranberry. Produces large juicy red-purple fruits from late August. Possibly the earliest fruiting variety. Self Fertile.

First introduced to the UK in the 1600's, so not quite the new superfruit that many believe they are! Fresh fruit is gorgeously sweet. Easy to grow and can even be used for hedging.
