Beetroot Plants

Beetroot is a delicious and nutritious root vegetable first cultivated by the Romans, full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants whilst being low in fat.

Don't forget that not only can you eat the beets but also the leaves are great in salads, making it a very useful and worthwhile crop to grow. Our beetroot plants reduce the amount of time you have to wait before you can start cropping and with them being delivered throughout the UK you only have to go out to plant them!

Don't forget if you can't keep up with them as young beets they can be eaten much larger (and make delicious 'chips')  Here at the nursery we use beetroot a lot throughout the winter months as a vegetable simply harvesting them as required.Alternatively you can harvest them and keep them stored for the winter if you prefer.
